We invite you to a special evening in the Arts at the Anglican series:
“Meditative Music – Rain Sultanov”

Come on May 9, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Anglican Church of the Resurrection to discover a rare form of jazz—meditative, profound, and introspective.

Rain Sultanov, one of the leading saxophonists of the Azerbaijani jazz scene, together with Hikmat Baba-Zada on the church organ, will create a musical experience that invites stillness, reflection, and reconnection. You will lose yourself in the world created by Sultanov’s evocative compositions.

The two artists are on tour in Romania thanks to the support of the Romanian musicians’ union UCIMR, and this will be their only concert in Bucharest.

For this concert, all proceeds from this concert go to the preservation and care of our historic church, which receives no external funding. Every contribution matters!
